What an incredible start to the year for the Sydney skate community! The energy is palpable, with skaters like `healzzz` and `micropixie` already hitting the pavement and logging sessions on the Let’s Roll app. It’s this grassroots passion that keeps our scene so vibrant and authentic.
Looking ahead, we’ve got some fantastic opportunities and important news on the horizon. For our younger skaters (or the young at heart!), mark your calendars for the Australia Day Celebrations with Free Skate Workshops at Meadowbank Park – a perfect chance to learn and connect. On a more serious note, the community is watching closely as SkateNSW has announced that Maximum Skating and Entertainment is seeking expressions of interest for its rink and assets. This is a significant moment for the local rink scene, and we’re sending all our best wishes for a positive outcome that keeps skaters rolling.
