Hey Sydney skaters! July was a bit of a quiet one for new discoveries in the Let’s Roll app, but that just means we have a clean slate to fill for August! While our community map was quiet, the local scene is buzzing with incredible opportunities for anyone looking to get their wheels under them for the first time. The amazing crew at the Sydney Roller Derby League is rolling out the welcome mat for new skaters this month.
They’re hosting a fantastic Come and Try roller skating event! on July 27th, which is the perfect low-pressure way to see if skating is for you. And if you’re ready to commit and learn the ropes properly, they’re also running a LEVEL 1 learn to skate program this July. Seriously, if you’ve been thinking about starting, this is your sign! Let’s get more people on eight wheels!
