Your April 2026 Melbourne Skate Guide: World Skate Games Fever Hits the City!
What an absolutely electric month for skating in Melbourne! The city was buzzing with competitive energy as local heroes got the chance to shine at the World Skate Games Qualifying Event for Roller Freestyle. While it was a bummer to hear that the SLS World Tour stop was officially removed from the calendar, the incredible grassroots energy more than made up for it.
Our Let’s Roll community was out in full force, with a flurry of sessions logged across the city and new skaters like the mysterious Kaiju starting to make their mark. From major competitions to family-friendly pop-ups, March proved that Melbourne’s skate scene is diverse, passionate, and ready for anything. Let’s dive into the highlights and get hyped for April!
Skaters on Our Radar
While the competitive skaters were making headlines, we’ve been watching the talent bubbling up in our own community. A new skater by the name of Kaiju has been spotted through the Let’s Roll app, and we’re stoked to see a new face on the scene. Keep an eye out for them, and remember to log your sessions so we can see who else is shredding out there!
