Melbourne Heats Up for February: National Speed Champs Hit the City!
Get ready to roll, Melbourne! January was an absolutely massive month, setting the stage for an even more exciting February. The city became the epicentre of Australian skating, hosting the prestigious 2026 Skate Australia Speed Skating National Championships, drawing top-tier talent to Dandenong. But the fun didn’t stop there, with casual skaters getting their groove on at the Australia Day 2026 Long Weekend Skate at Sk8house.
This explosion of high-profile events perfectly mirrors the energy we’re seeing right here in our own Let’s Roll community. We’ve had a surge of new skaters joining the app and a ton of sessions being logged across the city. It’s clear that from the pro-level tracks to the local streets, Melbourne’s skate scene is thriving and we are so here for it!
