Get ready to roll, Melbourne! September was an incredible month for the skate scene, and the energy is carrying right into October. While our own Let’s Roll app feed was a little quiet, the wider community has been buzzing with announcements for every type of skater. From vibrant, family-friendly events like the Kyneton Daffodil & Arts Festival – Roller Disco! to the moody and cool Goth Skate night, there’s a vibe for everyone.
On the competitive side, the scene is absolutely electric. We saw the next generation of shredders get their chance to shine at the Skate Of Mind 2025 youth competition. For our elite skaters, major opportunities are knocking with nominations opening for the 2025 Victorian Inline Speed Skating Championships and even a call for expressions of interest to represent Australia at the 2025 Inline Freestyle World Championships. Whether you’re lacing up for the first time or aiming for gold, Melbourne is the place to be!
Featured Skaters
We didn’t have any new skaters pop up on the Let’s Roll feed this month, but we see you all killing it out there! Tag your clips with #LetsRollMelbourne for a chance to be featured next time and share your awesome progress with the community.
Community Skate Sessions
No public sessions were logged in the app this month, but we know you’re meeting up! Next time you plan a group skate, log it as a session in the Let’s Roll app to invite more of our awesome community to join in the fun.
