When I bought my first rinky dinky pink Rookies last December I was genuinely unsure where this adventure would take me.
🩷Would I be any good at it?
💙Would I be on first name terms with the accident and emergency department?
💛Would people laugh at me?
🧡Would people say I'm too old?
💜Would I meet like-minded people?

💛They have, yes, and they've mocked, but I'm not going to listen to that. Skating is hard and I'll take mockery when those giving it have strapped wheels to their feet and given it a go themselves.
🧡 Yep! Some think I should be in my slippers at 43, but it's not going to stop me.
💜OMG yes!!! And it's the best community ever!!!! Everyone is so kind and helpful and supportive and I love it! I'm going to be brave and ignore the haters and people who think it's okay to be mean and generally a dipshit, and I'm going to embrace this amazing community and learn this incredibly hard skill.
